It just gets better. Based on your feedback, we've improved our best-selling knit dress. First, we gave the textured cotton-rayon fabric a tighter tensile knit to create a smoother fabric that retains its shape. Then, we eased the elbow-length sleeves for a more comfortable fit, and added additional hidden snaps to support the front closure wood button. Same pull-on styling, scoop henley neckline and relaxed, slightly A-line silhouette. Knee length. Machine washable. Imported. 39" length.

this is a fine dress

I like this dress very much -- it looks great on me, and I am considering getting another one in another color. The fabric is just a bit cheap, but for the rest... I'm glad I bought this!

Love this dress!

My new favorite dress! Fits great, length is perfect and love the design. I'm picky about my clothes and this dress ticks all the boxes. Love the 3/4 sleeve, scoop neck, color and length. Hope they keep this around for a long time, I think I'm gonna want another color.

Not for me

I do not like the way this dress looks on me at all. I like the color but do not like the fabric or the neckline, or the fit of the sleeves. I would not recommend this dress for the price.

Casual comfy day dress

I live part time in Hawaii and am always looking for cool dresses with sleeves (my arms have seen better days). This dress is perfect. It looks very much as depicted in the photo.

Beautiful Comfort!

I am a comfort girl and was beginning to feel a bit middle-aged and frumpy when my 4 year old niece told me her mom was a ""girly girl"" and I was a ""tomboy!"" LOL! This made me take some stock in what I had been wearing lately. My husband found the First Pick French Terry Dress in Territory Ahead. He bought me the dress in Plum first. Well I LOVED it so much that I ordered one soon after in Cobalt! I love these dresses because they are comfortable AND are gorgeous on! They are flattering to my figure and make me look and feel like a ""girly girl!"" Good-bye frumpy clothes! I will continue to shop from Territory Ahead catalog and stores!

nice dress

According to comments I ordered a size large in color eagean. (I am 5'4"", 147 pounds, 38 B). The dress is very nice, an everyday style but I had to send it back and order a Medium, hoping it will fit better. I also wish they had more neutral colors.

perfect dress

I am 5'5"", 145 lbs. and ordered a medium and it is a perfect, comfortable fit. I wore it for the first time today and got two compliments in the first 30 minutes at my work. The fabric is a little heavier than it looks. The sleeves have a nice wide band that is not binding at all. The drape is just right. The length is just below the knee for me. I am wearing it with Teva sandals and it feels sporty and good. I give it 5 stars. I am getting one in every color.

LOVE this dress...

I think I might wear this until it falls off of me... it is SO comfortable and looks great. I am usually about a 14/16, 5'4"" and I ordered a size Large in Aegean. It is just about perfect. LOVE it - planning to order in black for a slightly dressier option.

Wish this worked

I really wanted to keep this dress. The XS fit perfectly except in the shoulders, which were about an inch too narrow on each side, making the shoulder seams bunch up. Too bad! The next size up would swim on me everywhere else.

Best. Dress. Ever.

I've had my eye on this dress for more than a year, and I finally splurged. What a great buy! I am five foot two inches, and if I were taller, I'd be deemed ""womanly"" which means that normally I wear a LP. This dress is soft but not flimsy. The neckline is not too low. The fit is extraordinary--I have room enough room to move but not so much room that I look like I'm wearing a sack. It camouflages figure imperfections. I like the ribbing at the hem, the slightly longish sleeves. It covers my 50+-year-old knees without being a granny dress. Originally, I got the blue, but it was too intense a blue for my coloring, so I exchanged for the Aegean which isn't green, isn't blue, isn't solid. It's a unique color, and I wear it with a jade shrug and abalone pendant. I really, really love this dress, and my most fashion-savvy friend noticed it right away. More colors please!

cross between pjs and scrubs

I had high hopes for this dress, but it just felt sloppy - a little too long, a little too wide, and the placket felt heavy. The neck seemed to gape. Thought about a smaller size (or trying to shrink it) but I'm not sure that would help - there is no shape to it. I am 5'4"" and abut 150 pounds, more pear than apple, and ordered the medium. I also don't like the green color - looks just like Dr's scrubs. The fabric is nice, as are the longer sleeves, but this one is going back.

Happy summer dress

I usually wear a 4 or 6 in a dress so I ordered the xs. It fits well, except it is a bit loose in the waist, so I added a fabric belt to give it more shape. I really like the pigment dyed colors. The cobalt color is gorgeous and the material is very comfortable. It is a great dress for summer. For comparison: It is about 4 inches longer than the Dayshift Knit Dress and not as fitted. So, if your tummy is your problem area, I think this dress would be a better pick for you. Hope this helps :)

Like it but not sure it's worth the price

I am 5'4"" about 125 lbs, ordered a M and the dress hangs lower on me than the model. I would rather it be a little shorter. I feel like it's a little large (maybe frumpy), but a size smaller would be too tight in the shoulders. I like the material, but undecided as whether to keep it. I'm one of those pear shapes and my thighs are the widest part of my body. The dress hangs fairly straight and they show somewhat. Panty lines show somewhat as well. If you're apple-shaped this is probably your dress.

Gets better ...

I liked this dress so much better after I washed it and dried it in the dryer. I agree with some of the comments, but after I washed and dried it, it shrunk just enough to have a better fit! So comfy. I love it in the green.

comfy casual

Loved this dress from the moment I put it on. I'm 5""6, 135ish, small chest but swimmer's shoulders. The Medium is just right, and I bought the green and blue. Will be a great alternative to shorts or capris for any occasion! I usually don't spend this much on clothes but love the style of this dress.

wanted to love this dress

So sad. the band on the bottom of the dress makes it ""pull in"" giving a weird effect in how it hangs. The band on the hem needs to go away so it is a true A line swing dress. Then it would be awesome. As it stands it is not a flattering fit, more mason jar like. Fabric good, colors good but the way it hangs is disappointing.

Great Summer Dress

The blue is absolutely gorgeous. It's a bit large, but perhaps I should have ordered an xs. Not 5 stars because the hem detail is a bit odd.

French terry dress

This is a fabulous dress that is true to size and fits perfectly. I had to buy a second one so I could get out of the first to wash it!

My favorite dress ever

This dress may be the most comfortable piece of clothing I've ever worn! Lightweight but durable, great colors (I got two!). I get compliments on them every time I wear one!

Great dress if you have ""thin"" shoulders

I really loved this dress, but at 5'6"" and 150lbs, the Medium hung on me like a tent. The length made me look especially dowdy, as it fell below my knee. It has an a-line silhouette (which I normally like), but there is so much fabric below the bust that it just flared out unflatteringly on me. I would have loved to order it in a small, but the shoulders were snug on me. I'm an almost-apple shape, with very little waist definition after the birth of my son, and I think if my shoulders were on the thinner side and I had the smaller size, that it would have been flattering. Quality of the fabric was great, and dress was well made.

Best Dress Ever

This is my all-time favorite dress! I am 5' 7"", 140 lbs., and the medium fits perfectly. I love the elbow-length sleeves, the neckline, and the knee-skimming hem. The fabric is soft, but not clingy, and oh so comfortable! It's the best travel dress I've ever owned--perfect for long airline flights--no binding, no wrinkles, and still looks fresh upon arrival. I'm ordering a second color.

Love this dress

I have this dress in 3 colors, including the plum and Aegean, and now I'm coming back to get the grape and cobalt. I find it so easy to wear -- in summer and spring -- but now I'm looking at the photo of the grape dress with boots and thinking this could be for all seasons. I did find that the dress shrank a little after washing, which actually gives it a slightly tighter fit. I should say too that I'm almost 5'10"", and the dress has plenty of length, so I can see that it might be a bit too long for some women. The material is so comfortable. The dress is not fancy, but it looks good and is easy to wear.

Bummer for petites!

Gambled on this as it's my kind of dress for everyday. Alas, (and I know I'm on the low end of petites) being 4'11"" and carrying an extra 15 (menopausal) pounds (currently 130 lb) this dress just did NOT work for me...I ordered the small. Close, but way too long-waisted from shoulder to waist, (about 4 inches) consequently, everything hit in the wrong place -- too low in the bodice, too narrow in the hips. Also found the sleeves somewhat narrow and constricting...with a jersey dress like this, I want comfort, not form fit. Surprisingly, Found the fabric to be a medium and very acceptable weight jersey. Had this only been made in a petite, with a touch more room in the sleeves, I think it would have fit perfectly. Even had I been at my optimum weight, the regular small would have been too long waisted for my frame. Come ON Territory Ahead, how about MORE PETITE sizes for those of us who aren't ""willowy"" but too small to shop at Lane Bryant! You could set the industry standard! Please help! The choices for petites are growing smaller by the month!! This dress is going back at exorbitant shipping rates...have now wasted $18.95 to ship here and back!!!!!! Not happy!

I will definitely buy another color, or maybe two!

Last fall I went on a buying binge and bought several things I had been wanting here, among them this dress which I had been on the fence about, because of the differing attitudes about whether it covered the knees or not. It was a tough choice, but I picked the lovely deep grape, which goes well with my amethyst and silver beads. It is so comfortable, easy to care for, a great travel dress, and easy to care for, that I know I am going to get another color, definitely Aegean, and if you would bring back that lovely warm red I would certainly consider that as a possible third item, because it looks so Mediterranean!

Another Hit!

I was so pleased with the Top of the Line Dress (Loden) and the Cafe Sleeve dresses (ordered Grapefruit and Black), I decided to give this one a try. I ordered the Grape in M and it just arrived today. This is the most simple, comfortable dress I have ever had (more than the other three where I add a scarf, light jacket or sweater). All I need to do is throw on some sandals and I am ready to go. I just ordered the Sunset in M. I cannot wait for it to arrive. Perfect dress for SoCal during the Spring and Summer months.
